Good Smile Company shared a survey about is Nendoroid figure line that asked for opinions about things like the standard and more affordable Basic versions of the items, potential sales of additional customization parts, and events like pop-up stores. Some questions also seemed to gauge interest on digital features and elements, such as a “Digital Collection” and included NFT as an option of “digital authentication” for authenticity verification. The Google Form will accept responses until August 13, 2026.

The second about the standard and Basic Nendoroid figures started by essentially asking which type someone preferred. The standard includes face plates, extra hand and possibly arm or leg parts, and accessories, while the Basic gives someone a figure with no extras. This happened with the Metaphor: ReFantazio Will and Persona 3 Reload Makoto Yuki ones, as both appeared as standard and Basic Nendoroids. Someone could select if they would prefer one, other, or would be okay with both. The survey then asked someone to select why they prefer one or the other.

Both the questions that mentioned a possible Nendoroid Digital Collection and NFTs showed up toward the end of the Good Smile Company figure survey. The question about virtual elements came up first and asked, “Are you interested in a “Digital Collection” feature for Nendoroids?” Someone can then choose if they are or aren’t. The one involving NFTs showed up as a possible response to the “Which technologies or initiatives would you like to see Good Smile Company adopt in the future to ensure product authenticity?” question. The response suggested the possibility of the “introduction of digital authentication” for authenticity purposes and mentioned NFTs alongside serial codes as a possibility.

Some of the other questions went over additional details related to Nendoroid figures, customizing them, and the Dolls line. For example, a question about release schedules asked how frequently we would want to see multiple characters from the same anime or game show up in stores. Simultaneous, frequent, and spaced out all appeared as options there. The customization sections asked about kinds of parts people might want and prices they’d be willing to pay. As for the Nendoroid Doll line, it asked about additional skin tones people might want to see. It also asked if people buy ones of the company’s original characters or would want to see more pop-up stores.

The Good Smile Company Nendoroid figure survey will be open until August 13, 2026
