The Blood Of Dawnwalker Dev Is Already Firing Up The Sequel – WGB

The Blood Of Dawnwalker Has Sold A Million Copies In Just 2 Days

Rebel Wolves have been very clear since day 1: The Blood of Dawnwalker would be the first game in a franchise. And now, they are making good on that promise.

Narrative director Jakub Szamalek sidled over to his LinkedIn to say “we’re not resting on our luarels” and that “I’m looking for a lead writer to help and the narrative team craft the nexr chapter in the Dawnwalker saga.”

In fairness, this doesn’t neccessirly mean a direct sequel. The wording is ambigious enough that Rebel Wolves could also be making a spin-off, expansion, book or just about anything else.

But a full-blown sequel seems like a good bet since The Blood of Dawnwalker managed to shift a million copies in just a couple of days. Not too bad for a brand new IP in a month full of big-hitters.

Meanwhile, Rebel Wolves are busy working on updates foe the game, with hotfix 1.0.4 rolling out on September 9.

It looks like we’ve got a new franchise on our hands, folks.
