Another week in the books, these were the top stories in the third week of September.

Oppo confirmed its launch plans for the Find X10 series. The Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max will be joined by the more affordable Find X10 E with all three set to launch in China on September 22 (Tuesday). The Pro Max is the headliner from the bunch and is expected to bring the brand-new Dimensity 9600 Pro chip, three 200MP cameras on the back and an 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery.

The lineup will include the Find X10, Find X10 Pro Max, and Find X10 E.

The M16 OLEDs are reportedly used for the iPhone 18 Pro, 18 Pro Max and Duo.

Samsung announced its M16 OLED display material which will debut on the iQOO 16 first but a report from South Korea suggests it will also make its way to the Galaxy S27 Pro and S27 Ultra in early 2027.

Honor’s Magic9 series will feature vanilla, Pro Max and Super Edition variants which we saw in renders. The Pro Max will arrive in Black, Silver, and Olive Green colors while the Super Edition which is set to pack a massive 11,000mAh battery will come in Black, Silver, Olive Green, and a vibrant Popcorn Yellow shade.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max are set to launch with an updated back display that allows users to build apps using AI.

The phones are set to launch on September 28.

It is said to offer an upgraded rear display.

iQOO 16 is set to launch on September 29 (Tuesday) in China with some exciting specs. On top of the fancy Samsung M16 OLED (2K + 165Hz), the device is also getting Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Extreme chipset and an 8,400 mAh battery.

It will be available in three colorways.

We saw a leaked report which claims the vivo V80 will feature a 7,200 mAh battery alongside Android 17 with vivo’s OriginOS 7 on top.

It’s coming very soon with a fresh version of Android.

Vivo’s X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max will be the first phones to launch with the new Dimensity 9600 Pro chip. We got to spend some more time with Tecno’s bezel-less concept phone. The Galaxy S27 Ultra is expected to feature a new 5x telephoto camera (50MP) using a Sony sensor alongside a 50MP ultrawide and an upgraded 16MP selfie cam.

vivo beat Oppo by one day.

It’s not coming to a store near you, but it’s pretty cool nonetheless.

Another source seemingly corroborates a recent rumor about the telephoto camera, while bringing more information about the rest of the setup.

The A18 is fairly light on the upgrades over the Galaxy A17 4G. And it’s not exactly cheap.

In other Samsung news, the Galaxy A18 4G made an unexpected debut. The budget device gets an all-new Exynos 1610 chipset, IP64 ingress protection and OneUI 9 based on Android 17.
