A few days ago, we heard that Samsung was considering using LPDDR5X memory in the Galaxy S27 and S27+ instead of going with LPDDR6. Today, a new rumor from Korea says the company still aims to equip the Galaxy S27 Ultra and S27 Pro with LPDDR6 RAM and UFS 5.1 storage, but there is a possibility that only one or more higher RAM/storage tiers would get that, while the lower ones wouldn’t.
On the other hand, it seems pretty clear that the S27 and S27+ won’t see the new memory and storage standards. The same source also brings us the purported RAM and storage configurations for the entire Galaxy S27 lineup. Here they are:

So there’s nothing really groundbreaking here, aside from the fact that the vanilla model finally starts at 256GB too. The Galaxy S27+ and Galaxy S27 Ultra have the exact same options as their predecessors, while the Pro inherits the Ultra’s 1TB option but pairs it with just 12GB of RAM for some reason, even though it’s supposed to be the smaller Ultra.
Anyway, all of this is obviously not confirmed officially in any way, so do take it with a pinch of salt at least. On the other hand, a recent certification in China has revealed that the Galaxy S27 Pro will have a 5,200 mAh battery and the Galaxy S27 Ultra will have a 5,700 mAh battery, and both will support 60W wired charging.
