Google recently announced that it’s bringing Google Photos users five new features which are designed to streamline how they can manage and edit their libraries. That said, the new features use AI-based processing for image edits, which isn’t really surprising to see these days.
That said, the update brings Gemini Spark integration for eligible U.S. subscribers, allowing users to select, brighten, and share portraits using text prompts—for example, users simply need to type in what kind of edits they want done on their photos, and the AI will then perform the corresponding commands.
A new Wardrobe feature is also launching for users in the U.S., India, and Brazil which can automatically catalog clothing items from pictures for virtual styling. For styling enhancements, users can expect an update which will come with Moods, a new feature that applies vintage-inspired aesthetics such as 35mm film and 2000s digicam looks.

Additionally, users can now access 15 new Remix templates to transform everyday pictures into custom cards and photo booth formats, although these are subject to regional and age availability. Finally, a redesigned markup tool is rolling out globally on Android, featuring a redact pen for blurring sensitive details, more in-depth thickness controls, and new font options.
