French soccer legend Zinedine Zidane begins his tenure as Les Bleus’ head coach on Friday with a tricky first test in the UEFA Nations League away to Turkey.
Zidane has big boots to fill, succeeding his former teammate Didier Deschamps, who consistently led the French to the latter stages of major tournaments throughout his 14 years in charge, notably winning the World Cup in 2018.
