While JBL is mostly known as one of the go-to brands when it comes to everyday audio gear, the brand also makes its own line of gaming headphones, which it lovingly dubs the Quantum series. That said, JBL recently unveiled its latest line of Quantum series headphones, which includes the Quantum 520, Quantum 520X, and Quantum 120.

Available now, all three models are built with 50 mm carbon dynamic drivers and feature JBL’s Quantum Spatial Sound, in addition to other features such as Hi-Res Audio, and compatibility with the JBL QuantumENGINE software. As they are designed for gaming, they also come with built-in voice chat support by way of a detachable noise-cancelling 6mm cardioid boom microphone.

In terms of pricing, the Quantum 520 and the Xbox-compatible Quantum 520X come in at €99.99, and feature dual wireless connectivity via a 2.4GHz dongle and Bluetooth 5.4, as well as a low-latency wired USB-C connection. The two headphones can last for up to 37 hours of battery life, and even come with a fast-charging feature that gets you one hour of playback from a five-minute charge. As for compatibility, the standard Quantum 520 works with PC, PlayStation, and mobile devices, while the Quantum 520X expands compatibility to include Xbox consoles.

The most affordable of the bunch is the Quantum 120, which is priced at €44.99 and does feature a standard 3.5 mm audio port for better hardware connectivity all around.
