Xiaomi has already officially confirmed that it’s launching the 18 Fold this month, and that the device will be powered by the self-developed Xring O3 chipset, which seems quite impressive.

Now the upcoming foldable smartphone has been spotted in the Geekbench AI online database, as a prototype ran the benchmark. The device is powered by the Xring O3 SoC as expected, paired with 16GB of RAM – at least that’s how much the prototype in question had. Xiaomi may offer other options too.

The Xiaomi 18 Fold will run Android 17 when it arrives, which is good to see because Google released that version a few months ago. As you can see in the screenshot above, the Xiaomi 18 Fold managed a 629 single precision score, a 799 half precision score, and a 634 quantized score in Geekbench AI for Android version 1.7.0.

The Xring O3’s CPU was registered by the benchmark as having two cores clocked at up to 4.36GHz, four cores clocked at up to 3.69GHz, and four cores clocked at up to 3.15GHz. It’s using the Mali-G2-Ultra-NX MC16 GPU.
