This Dell 16 has spent most of the last seven months between £680 and £819 – but it has just dropped to £499.
That drop takes the Dell 16 DC16250, a 16-inch laptop with 512GB of storage and 16GB of RAM, from £819 down to £499 under Amazon’s limited-time deal, a saving of £320, or 39% off.

£499 sits well below where this laptop has traded for most of this year, when it hovered close to £700 before climbing above £800 over the summer, which makes this genuinely one of its lowest prices yet.
The 16-inch WVA display runs at 2K resolution in a 16:10 aspect ratio, with an anti-glare, ComfortView Plus coating that Dell says cuts blue light while keeping colours accurate through the long stretches spent working at a desk each day.
Inside sits a 10-core Intel Core 5 processor paired with 16GB of DDR5 memory and a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD, enough combined muscle to keep spreadsheets, browser tabs and video calls running without the usual mid-afternoon slowdown.

Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 keep it connected at home or in the office, while a USB-C port and HDMI output cover external monitors, docks and any accessory you plug in without hunting for an adapter.
A built-in fingerprint reader means signing in takes a glance rather than a typed password, while the backlit keyboard and full numeric keypad make this just as comfortable to use late at night as it is first thing in the morning.
Dell has also built the chassis from post-consumer recycled plastics with military-grade durability testing behind it, plus a hardware security chip and a lock slot that make it a sensible pick for anyone using it outside the house.
Why pay more for a smaller screen and less storage when £499 gets you a 16-inch Dell 16 with 512GB, 16GB of RAM and a fingerprint reader built in? It is a spacious, business-ready laptop for less than many 14-inch machines with half the specification, and worth grabbing now.
