Samsung is warming up for the release of the A18 4G. Both inside and out the device looks very similar to its predecessor.
However, Samsung is sticking to the familiar teardrop notch for the selfie camera and fairly sizeable bezels, particularly the chin. On the rear is the vertical triple camera arrangement. There’s a slightly elevated part for the power button and volume rockers on the right hand.
Furthermore, the colour selection is similar to the current model, as it comes in Black, Light Blue, and Silver colours. According to reports the phone measures 164.4 x 77.9 x 7.7mm, with a weight of 193 grams and an IP64 ingress protection certification.
Moreover, the Galaxy A18 4G offers a 6.7-inch, FullHD+, AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. As for the chipset, it’s a familiar MediaTek Helio G99, paired with 4GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. The 256GB is expandable via microSD card.
There’s a 5,000 mAh battery that keeps the lights on and comes with support for 25W wired charging. Coming to the main camera, it’s a 50MP, f/1.8 unit, and backed up by a 5MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro camera. It comes with Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.3.
The Galaxy A18 4G will launch with a starting MSRP of €300.
