It’s believed that Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro Max will charge faster than any other iPhone ever. A new post by Ice Universe on X shows that in just 15 minutes, the device goes from 0 to 50% charge. This tallies with what Apple claimed during the announcement.
iPhone 18 Pro Max charging speed is the fastest
In just 10 minutes, the iPhone 18 Pro Max can reach 34%, and reports 100% charge after 55 minutes. Notwithstanding, it stops charging after 76 minutes. Note that its predecessor reaches 38% after 15 minutes, and shows 100% after 72 minutes. This reveals a peak of 35W, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max can reach 52W.
Oh my God! The charging speed of the iPhone 18 Pro Max has improved dramatically, and it even beats the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
10 minutes: 34%
15 minutes: 55%
55 minutes: 100%

The iPhone 18 Pro Max has a larger battery than the iPhone 17 Pro Max, which is good to know. Also, it’s using a 2nm chip that makes it more efficient.
