The latest Wuthering Waves Preview Broadcast just aired, providing all Rovers with a full look at the features arriving with Version 3.7, ”Prism’s Illusion, Heart’s Illumination”.
Set to release on September 30, 2026 (UTC +8), the update will mark the finale of the Xuanfang Unveiled storyline and feature the debut of two new playable 5-star Resonators: Hsin (Electro/Rectifier), also known as The Moon Fox and the game’s first playable Sentinel, and Suoming (Electro/Sword), the mysterious Intendant of the Ministry of Sentinel Affairs.
Hsin’s banner will debut with the new version, with Chisa and Yuno also getting reruns during its first phase. Suoming will then kick off phase two, also set to feature reruns for Lucilla and Lynae. All banners are scheduled to run in unison with each character’s featured weapon convene options.

Together with its new Chapter IV — Act IV: Simulacrum of the Heart Main Quest, players will also get to experience a new permanent event in Blooms for the Shadow, claim 10x Radiant Tides via a new log-in event (starting on October 10), tackle a new Tales Quest in Moonlike Heart, Mortal Longing, acquire six new Echoes, and explore a new area in Simulacrum Nexus of Mengzhou during 3.7. Nine special events are also set to debut during its runtime, together with new Resonator accessories.
Mission Replays Arrive With a Godsend For Mobile And PC Players
To the delight of all who were impacted by the game’s rocky launch, a new Replay Mode is also scheduled to arrive with 3.7, allowing players to revisit Main Quests at their leisure. On September 30, only Main Quests up to version 1.3 will be playable, with more being expected to arrive during future updates. The Replays will be available via the Journey Log Interface.
Replaying certain patches will also allow you to take part in seasonal events and unlock their secret achievements, with version 1.2’s Moon-Chasing Festival being available for all who complete 1.1. Just don’t forget, all items acquired during the replay won’t be usable outside of it.
On September 30, only Main Quests up to version 1.3 will be playable, with more being expected to arrive during future updates.
Multiple Quality of Life upgrades will also be arriving with the new version, starting with the debut of new camera functions, allowing players to take selfies, first-person handheld pictures, and further enhance shots with extra environment-related options. 3-D lineup displays will also be available when team-building, together with extra team preset slots. To help players maximize their inventory space, a new Echo stacking feature will also be arriving.
Answering what has been a big topic among the community since the debut of version 3.0, developers also announced the debut of a Tiered Resource function for the Wuthering Waves client, allowing IOS and mobile Rovers to pick between HD and SD quality options when downloading resources. Limited testing with the PC client will also take place during 3.7, allowing players to pick between UHD, HD, and SD. According to the broadcast, the maximum size difference between the UHD and SD presets will be capped at around 30GB.

The broadcast also featured a few promotional codes, which players can exchange in-game for a total of 300x Astrite, 40,000 Shell Credits, and some extra materials. The codes are valid until September 21st at 08:59 (PT). To claim them, head to Settings, Other, and then navigate until you find the Redemption Code tab under Account.

Wuthering Waves can be played for free on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC (via its local client, Steam, and the Epic Games Store), as well as on all supported mobile and iOS devices. The game’s current Featured Resonator Banner, starring the mysterious Jingran, is still live and will run until the end of version 3.6 on September 29.
