It seems Samsung has delayed the wider rollout of the One UI 9 update for the Galaxy S26 series. This means that the Galaxy S26 series will likely not get the One UI 9 update outside Korea till 28th September. This is one week later than the previous expected date.
Note that the update started rolling out in Korea on the 16th of September. Samsung Thailand press release stated the Galaxy S26 series would get it in Thailand on the 21st of September. Now, Samsung Thailand has changed the date for the S26 series to 28th of September. According to the press release, this date had already been listed for the Galaxy S25 series, Galaxy Z Fold 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7.

• Sep 21 — S26 Series
• Sep 28 — S25 + Z7

• Sep 28 — S26 + S25 + Z7

However, Samsung is yet to give the reason for the delay. Nevertheless, the revised date will likely apply only to Thailand.
