Other than the Fitbit Air, it’s been quite sometime now since we’ve gotten a proper fitness watch from Google and Fitbit. The launch of the Pixel Watch proved that Google wanted to go all-in on its Wear OS ecosystem, although it looks like things are about to get interesting, especially for Fitbit fans.
More specifically, product renders and specifications of an upcoming “Fitbit Edge” model have been making their rounds on the internet, courtesy of the folks over at Android headlines. Based on what details are available, it looks like it’s a successor of sorts to the Fitbit Charge (or Inspire) series, although there’s no official word from Google yet. It does feature a very similar design to the charge, albeit with a more rounded watch face.
The device will also be available in three different colours, at least judging from the available leaked images.

The Fitbit Edge will also come with up to a week of battery life, support for Bluetooth notifications, Google Maps, music control and Find My, as well as support for both Android and iOS devices. There’s no word on an official launch date or pricing yet, although it’s speculated that Google might unveil the device this Autumn for around 200 bucks.
