You can give it a try right now
As announced on the Claude blog, Anthropic has announced the availability of Claude for Google Workspace. This handy extension lets you bring up Claude in a little sidebar beside your work, so you can stay with your LLM while you work on whatever document you have open at the moment.
Fortunately, the sidebar is more than just a place to ask Claude questions. If you have any problems with your document (perhaps you’re unsure how to write a specific segment, for instance), you can tell Claude to fix it in the sidebar, and it’ll get to work making the adjustments.
If you’d rather not let an LLM loose on your precious document to make potentially unwanted changes to your document (and I don’t blame you), Claude will make little cards for each proposed change if it wants to do something big. You then have the power to allow or deny the change before it affects anything.
It’s available right now for paid members, so download it from the Google Workspace Marketplace and give it a try.
