Timi has been writing about technology for over a decade, focusing on smartphones, computers, and anything that he finds interesting in the tech space. He started writing for XDA, covering all things mobile, but has transitioned to covering deals, with a mission to shed light on some of the best discounts around the internet on the greatest tech products.
This UGREEN DXP4800 Plus NAS is perfect for beginners and suitable for advanced users. The $730 price tag is steep, but the Amazon discount that knocks 20% off makes it easier on the wallet. The UGREEN DXP4800 Plus is still pricey, but this is the lowest price we’ve seen in quite some time.

Those that are deep into NAS builds will never be satisfied with what’s on the shelves. The ability to endlessly customize can become a bit of a rabbit hole if you’re not careful. But for most people, this UGREEN NAS is going to be the perfect device to back up all your information.
The UGOS Pro software might not be perfect, but the brand does make it easy to get started. Plus, it’s always updating the software so that it offers more features, making it easier for everyone to use. It offers an easy-to-understand interface, and you can start hosting your information with just a few clicks.
Download the corresponding app on your devices, and you can easily access the NAS from anywhere, so long as you have a internet connection. This model is a 4-bay device, which means you can install up to four drives, expanding the storage to 144TB. The device is also quite quick and versatile thanks to its Intel processor paired with 8GB of RAM.
Transfer speeds are quite quick too, with dual Ethernet, with 10Gb and 2.5Gb ports. And just in case you want to expand the capabilities, you can install different operating systems and software. The NAS has a 128GB SSD that allows for ample expansion. Again, starting out, UGOS Pro is more than enough. But you can also install something like TrueNAS Scale if you want.
