The new RedMagic 12 Pro Plus has been officially launched, featuring advanced liquid cooling and top-tier hardware designed specifically for mobile gamers. The smartphone incorporates a transparent rear circle showcasing its active cooling fan equipped with RGB lighting, along with IPX8 water and dust resistance. Its 6.85-inch BOE X11 OLED display delivers a resolution of 2,688 x 1,216 pixels, a 185Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 5,000 nits. Additionally, an under-display front camera ensures an uninterrupted viewing experience.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 platform, paired with proprietary RedCore R5 and G1 chips. It offers up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. Cooling is managed by liquid cooling technology combined with a high-speed internal fan reaching 25,500 rpm. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and NFC. The optics consist of a 50 MPmain rear sensor with optical image stabilization, a 50 MPultrawide lens, and a 16 MPfront-facing camera. Power is supplied by a massive 8,400 mAh battery supporting 120 wired and 80 Wwireless charging. The phone runs on Android 17 customized with RedMagic OS 12.
Initially released in China, the device is available in Dark Night Transparent, Silver Wing Transparent, and Ice Blue Transparent color variants. Pricing begins at 6,999 yuans ($1,046) for the 12GB + 256GB model, 7,999 yuans ($1,195) for the 16GB + 512GB version, and 8,999 yuans ($1,345) for the 16GB + 1TB edition, while the pricing for the top-tier 24GB + 1TB configuration remains unannounced.
