Infosys reported revenues of $5,145 million for the second quarter ended September 30, 2026, with an operating margin of 21.0% and large-deal wins carrying a total contract value of $5.2 billion, according to the IFRS earnings release the company published on October 23, 2026. Chief Executive and Managing Director Salil Parekh said AI revenue grew 29% quarter on quarter and accounted for 10.5% of revenue.

The Bengaluru-based company reported constant-currency revenue growth of 1.5% year on year and 1.2% sequentially for the quarter, with reported-currency growth of 1.3% year on year. Basic earnings per share were $0.20, a decline of 0.3% year on year, while earnings per share grew 8.7% in rupee terms. Free cash flow was $928 million, a decline of 15.7% year on year, representing conversion of 113.3% of net profit. The board took the results on record at a meeting held on October 23, 2026.

For the six months ended September 30, 2026, Infosys reported revenues of $10,227 million, growth of 2.1% in reported currency and 1.9% in constant currency, with an operating margin of 21.0%. Basic EPS for the period was $0.40, up 1.7% year on year, and free cash flow was $1,883 million, a decline of 5.1%, representing conversion of 114.9% of net profit.

    AI Revenue and Large Deals

Parekh said the $5.2 billion in large-deal total contract value, of which 62% was net new, included a mega deal of over $2 billion, and said the wins reinforced the company’s position as a partner when clients embark on large and complex transformation programs. “Our AI revenue was at 10.5% and grew 29% quarter-on-quarter. As enterprises move to AI adoption at scale, the strong growth in AI revenues is a recognition of our differentiated market positioning and client confidence,” he said.

Parekh added that Infosys is advising some of the largest global enterprises on their AI strategy and is continuing to invest in domain and technology capabilities so that clients can extract value from AI at scale.

    Guidance, Dividend, and Margin Commentary

Infosys revised its fiscal 2027 revenue guidance to growth of 1%-2% in constant currency and retained its operating-margin guidance of 20%-22%.

Chief Financial Officer Jayesh Sanghrajka said the company delivered operating margins of 21.0% in the quarter amidst heightened volatility, with a focus on cost and operational efficiency measures alongside required investments producing stable margins. He said the free cash flow figure, representing 113.3% of net profit, underscored the financial strength of the business.

The board announced an interim dividend of 26 rupees per share, which Sanghrajka said was an increase of 13% from the previous year. The company’s Fact Sheet lists a dividend of 23 rupees per share for the quarter ended September 30, 2025.

    Client Wins in the Quarter

The release named several client engagements for the quarter. Infosys entered a ten-year strategic agreement with Crocs, Inc. to accelerate its IT transformation and support scalable global growth. It collaborated with Mondelez International on supply chain transformation spanning AI-enabled decision-making, data standardization, and intelligent enterprise workflows, and with Knorr-Bremse on an AI-enabled enterprise transformation. It also expanded its collaboration with Metsä Group to drive an AI-led transformation of that company’s IT landscape.

Infosys worked with NTN Corporation on a migration to SAP Commerce Cloud, with Telia on AI-powered transformation across its network and cybersecurity operations, and with KnitWell Group to build Engage, an AI-powered customer-engagement platform for its store associates. Investec selected the Infosys Finacle SaaS platform on Microsoft Azure for its digital banking transformation.

    Operating Metrics

According to the Fact Sheet, Financial Services contributed 28.0% of second-quarter revenue, while Life Sciences grew 32.5% year on year and Retail declined 8.1% in reported currency. North America contributed 54.6% of revenue and Europe 32.5%, with Europe growing 4.6% year on year in constant currency and North America declining 1.5%.

Infosys reported 2,060 active clients after adding 142 gross during the quarter, with 42 clients each contributing more than $100 million in revenue over the last twelve months. The top 10 clients contributed 19.8% of revenue, and days sales outstanding stood at 64.

The company had 332,542 employees at the end of the quarter, with women making up 39.8% of the workforce. Voluntary attrition in IT services stood at 12.7% over the last twelve months, and utilization including trainees was 81.9%. Consolidated cash and investments stood at $4,720 million, and the release’s balance-sheet extract shows total assets of $17,060 million and total equity of $10,389 million as of September 30, 2026.

The company’s investor-relations page for the quarter listed a press-conference webcast at 4:30 p.m. IST and an earnings conference call at 6:00 p.m. IST on October 23, 2026.
