Cognizant announced on November 6, 2026 that it had acquired Wizeline, a global services firm focused on AI-native engineering and digital product development for enterprises. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The acquisition expands Cognizant’s work in digital product development, software engineering, cloud modernization, data and AI. Cognizant expects the added capabilities to strengthen its ability to help clients design, build, modernize and scale digital products, platforms and AI-enabled experiences.
Cognizant places the deal within its broader business of building full-stack AI solutions intended to connect AI investment with enterprise value. Wizeline contributes an AI-centric product-engineering model that pairs global forward-deployment teams with data and AI expertise for modern product and workflow projects.
Delivery Scale and Leadership
Wizeline’s company profile reports approximately 2,000 employees, more than 100 clients and a presence in 11 countries. Its location directory separately lists operations in Canada, the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, the United Kingdom, Spain, Romania and Vietnam, spanning the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific. Wizeline operates as a nearshore transformation engineering partner for media and entertainment, financial services, and healthcare and life sciences enterprises.
Wizeline was acquired from its previous investors, including La Caisse. Its current leadership already includes direct Cognizant experience: Chief Executive Officer Inés Casares previously held leadership positions at Cognizant, Cognizant Softvision and Globant. She also served as Wizeline’s chief service officer, leading cross-functional teams across solutions, pre-sales, partnerships and talent acquisition.
Media Franchise and Agentic Workflows
Wizeline brings a concentrated media and entertainment franchise supporting large U.S. enterprises across publishing and news, filmed entertainment, broadcasting, and talent and creator representation. On its media-services page, Wizeline says four of the top six U.S. media conglomerates trust its services.
Its media work connects monetization tools such as subscriber and cross-channel analytics, advertising and marketing technology, personalization and recommendations with content operations including asset management, workflow automation, metadata generation, rights and distribution, streaming delivery and subscription management.
One agentic-AI accelerator coordinates agents for multimodal, intent-based search across asset libraries, archives, vector databases and metadata taxonomies through a single interface, without requiring all assets and metadata to be migrated into one place. Another uses multi-agent workflows to turn a master asset into platform-specific content, while a separate offering automates ingestion, metadata tagging, transcription, captioning, quality control, language checks and rights distribution.
Together, those accelerators cover distinct stages of media work: locating material, adapting it for different channels and preparing it for distribution. The acquisition therefore gives Cognizant a concrete route from its full-stack AI positioning into day-to-day content operations, backed by Wizeline’s engineering teams and client franchise. The central execution question is how broadly those specialized capabilities can be deployed across Cognizant’s enterprise client work.
