Samsung is working on Android 17-based One UI 9 for several Galaxy devices, even though it has released the One UI 9 beta only for the Galaxy S26 series. While Samsung hasn’t revealed when it will expand the One UI 9 beta program to more devices, the Korean brand could release One UI 9 beta for the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A56 before rolling out the stable update.
Samsung Galaxy A35
The reason is that the One UI 9 beta build with firmware A356NKSUAZZH5 for the Galaxy A35 and the One UI 9 beta build with firmware A566SKSU9ZZHH for the Galaxy A56 have been spotted on Samsung’s test servers in Korea. Samsung has also created a One UI 9 beta forum for the Galaxy A56 on Samsung Community in India.
Samsung Galaxy A35
Right now, the only smartphones running stable One UI 9 are the Galaxy Z Fold8, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, the Galaxy Z Flip8, and the Galaxy S26 FE, as they launched with One UI 9.
Samsung Galaxy A56
The Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra have received seven One UI 9 beta updates so far and could receive stable One UI 9 in the coming weeks. After that, we could see Samsung open the One UI 9 beta program for the Galaxy S25 series and other eligible smartphones.
