Abhishek Yadav has spotted the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra (SM-X940) on Geekbench 7. According to the benchmark scorecard, the tablet is powered by a Dimensity 9500 chipset.

Furthermore, its Prime CPU core is clocked at 4.21 GHz and also matches the frequency of the original 9500 chip. So it doesn’t seem to be a plus version of the chip.

The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra used the Dimensity 9400+ chipset. It boosted its prime CPU from 3.62GHz to 3.73GHz. The tablet featured 12GB of RAM. As Samsung only offers 16GB on rare models with 1TB storage, this applies to Galaxy S and Z models, as well as the Tab S models.

It’s expected that in September, Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra, Tab S12+, and many models. For instance, the SM-X940 in particular is a Wi-Fi-only Ultra. It’s worthy to note that 5G connectivity will be a $150 upgrade. The Ultra will come with a 14.6” display, while the Plus model will feature a 12.4” display.

The expected prices for the two slates are stated below.
