At IFA 2026 in Berlin, XPPen is introducing its latest Android drawing tablet, the Magic Pro 13. The brand claims that this is a drawing tablet built for serious creators, becoming an important portable tool that can handle anything you throw at it.
The best part is that you can connect it to a PC, turning it into a drawing display for an even better experience. According to XPPen, the “Drawing Display Mode” is an “industry-first” in the “digital drawing pad category.”
The best of both worlds
When connected to a PC, the Magic Pro 13 delivers “low latency, native color output, and higher bandwidth video transmission” with “16K pressure sensitivity and cursor hover support” through a single cable connection.
Hardware-wise, you’re getting a large 12.95-inch 3K 120Hz screen with support for 100% sRGB and 96% DCI-P3. The stylus features an X4 smart chip delivering 16,384 pressure levels, tilt recognition up to 60 degrees, a resolution of 5080 LPI (Lines Per Inch), and a response time of less than 30ms.
The drawing tablet runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chip and has 8GB of RAM, along with 256GB of built-in storage. It also supports expansion via its microSD card slot up to 2TB. While the brand doesn’t share just how long this tablet will last off the charger, it does feature a 10,200mAh battery, which should provide all-day use for most people.
Naturally, this time will vary depending on use, but we think most people will be satisfied with what’s available. It has a 13MP rear camera, an 8MP front-facing camera, and a 10,200mAh battery. All of this comes in a slim 6.65mm design, and it weighs just 655 grams.
It runs Android 16 and includes key XPPen software like Shelf and Canvas. OS updates have become an essential part of the ownership experience for Android devices, but XPPen hasn’t published anything to suggest this product will receive updates beyond what it ships with.
Since this is a tablet, XPPen does have other accessories ready to go, like a keyboard cover and kickstand case. We think the former is the perfect way to get better productivity out of this model. At launch, pricing had not been announced.
But we think that XPPen will be able to hit the sweet spot. The brand has been around for some time and has a wide range of tablets and drawing pad products.
