Konami announced it will be at the 2026 CatCon convention selling Metal Gear Solid pet merchandise like a replica of the series’ iconic cardboard box. These will only be sold at the Pasadena, California event at the company’s booth between October 10-11, 2026.
Two items are confirmed for this event. One is a Pink Love Box that is a replica of the Love Pack cardboard box that first appeared in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. That also seems to have a scratcher insert inside for the cat to use their nails on in the example photo. The other item is a Barrel Box tower that looks like the Drum Can from Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. That is a two-tier item for cats that allows one to sit in a top or bottom spot.
Here’s how both of those items will look. In the photo Konami shared, we can only see a cat using the Pink Love Box.

The most recent game release in the series is Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Volume 2. That launched in August 2026 and includes Metal Gear: Ghost Babel, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.
Konami will sell the Metal Gear Solid Pink Love Box cardboard box and Barrel Box drum can replica at CatCon 2026. The event will take place at the Pasadena Convention Center in Pasadena, California between October 10-11, 2026.
