Ubisoft officially pulled back the curtain on the physical Launch Edition for Rayman Legends Retold, a special bundle that also surprisingly packs in Rayman Origins Enhanced Edition. So yes, you read that right: this edition doesn’t just include one game, but two!
On top of that, unboxing the Launch Edition grants fans a high-quality physical slipcase housing the game case, a detailed printed map of the Glade of Dreams to frame or pin to a wall, three collectible art lithographs, and some bonus in-game cosmetics. All of them look pretty cute, and as a long-time Rayman fan, the artwork used on these physical goodies instantly transported me back in time.

The reveal of the Launch Edition took place on the official Rayman account on X (formerly Twitter), which caught everyone’s eye by pairing the image with a playful social media caption that didn’t hold back on the humor: “We might not have a Glade of Dreams Collection… BUT our $39.99 Launch Edition comes with: a printed Glade of Dreams map, three lithographs, an exclusive slipcase… and a copy of BOTH Rayman Legends Retold and Origins: Enhanced Edition.”
The tongue-in-cheek wink at the end served as a direct nod to recent physical edition controversies – most notably Rockstar Games’ highly debated Collector’s Edition for Grand Theft Auto 6, which made headlines for carrying a steep price tag while explicitly omitting a physical copy of the game itself.
