Apple and LG have reportedly partnered to co-develop and launch new Home accessories, including security cameras and a video doorbell that leaked images may have just revealed.

Video doorbell, security cameras from Apple and LG revealed in new images

Ahead of next week’s anticipated unveiling of three new Apple Home products, yesterday Mark Gurman reported that Apple also has a suite of home accessories coming that were co-developed with LG.

These new accessories include a smart lock, thermostat, video doorbell, indoor camera, outdoor camera, floodlight camera, and temperature sensor.

Earlier today leaker pdfu shared images and details on the smart lock, thermostat, and temperature sensor.

Now images appear to have surfaced for the camera-centric products too, via X user @ringo_tech.

The account has a small following, but it has a solid track record of publishing smart home accessory details. It also posted a variety of detailed specifications on the products that seem credible. For example, in this thread the account reveals the following:

    Video Doorbell Wired (link)

Has a main camera and a second downward-facing camera. Includes an AC/DC converter, a USB board, and two Wi-Fi antenna connections. Supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi with WPA2/WPA3 security and has a Thread antenna.

    Floodlight Cam (link)

Has separate left and right lights. Includes infrared LEDs, an ambient-light sensor window, microphone components, and a speaker. Supports dual-band Wi-Fi with WPA2/WPA3 and has Thread and NFC antennas. Shares design elements with the Outdoor Cam.

    Outdoor Cam Plug-In (link)

Has a ball-joint mount and power adapter. Includes infrared LEDs, an ambient-light sensor window, microphone components, and a speaker. Uses O-rings and waterproof grease for sealing. Supports dual-band Wi-Fi, WPA2/WPA3, and has Thread and NFC antennas.

    Indoor Cam Plug-In (link)

Has a motor-and-gear mechanism that appears to provide vertical tilt. Includes Hall IC components, infrared LEDs, microphone components, and a speaker. Supports dual-band Wi-Fi with WPA2/WPA3 security and has Thread and NFC antennas.

Additional photos of the products are available via the linked posts above.

Based on Mark Gurman’s reporting, Apple worked with LG to co-develop and design these products as part of its forthcoming smart home overhaul. But the accessories will ultimately launch with LG branding.
