There will be a new entry in the Kitchen Sync series, as Kitchen Sync: The Flying Tavern will show up on PCs. It debuted during the August 2026 Wholesome Games Celebration, which offered a quick look at its gameplay and premise. Once again, it involves cooking with others and building relationships as you do.

Kitchen Sync: The Flying Tavern is an isekai story. Players’ characters end up on the flying restaurant in Rosolare and work with different characters and chefs to make food in the kitchen. Depending on who you work with, you’ll see Support Bonds grow. There will also be Recipe Twists, Sync Styles that appear when you work together, and abilities to serve drinks. Also, as this is a fantasy world entry, some of the ingredients will be more unorthodox and involve monsters.

Here’s the first reveal of the new game that shows off some characters, highlights how the restaurant will look, goes over how different regions will change the way the tavern looks, and introduces a few characters.

There are also a handful of initial screenshots showing what we can expect.

The original game had a more realistic take. Kitchen Sync: Aloha involved building up the Aloha Pearl restaurant and other establishments in Hawaii. It also involved the relationship elements present in the sequel, as well as an option for a more relaxed gameplay mode via choosing Cozy over Hard Boiled.

Kitchen Sync: The Flying Tavern will show up on PCs via Steam.
