Atlus Annual Survey for 2026 Asks Persona Remakes

Atlus regularly releases an annual survey on a yearly basis asking about its games and possible JRPG details, and 2026 is no different. This year’s installment is available in Japan and North America now. People can take part until September 6, 2026. If someone makes it through to the end, they’ll find Atlus asks about more Persona JRPG remakes and physical releases of games.

The length of this questionnaire varies from year to year. For example, the 2022 one was expected to last about 45 minutes. The estimate for the 2026 Atlus annual games survey is 20 minutes.

While things begin with general demographic information regarding things like age, gender, location, occupation, and monthly disposable income, it gets into questions related to gaming. Things start with owned platforms and how long people use them, genres people appreciate, and also cover how people see information tied to the hobby or share it. It gets interesting once it gets into the game purchases section, as Atlus asks about how many physical copies of total purchased games someone bought.

Some of the other more specific questions in the survey get into actual Atlus games and what people expect from them. One question asks what sorts of themes, concepts, and gameplay people expect from the company’s titles. It also asks how aware the survey taker is with both Atlus titles like Catherine, Metaphor: ReFantazio, Raidou Remastered, and Persona entries, as well as other JRPGs and RPGs like FFVII Rebirth, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and Pokemon Legends: Z-A. (It also asked if people own those titles.) Vanillawaregames like 13 Sentinels, Dragon’s Crown, Odin’s Sphere Leifthrasir, and Unicorn Overlord come up in that section as well.

Questions about known Persona entries and remakes scome up at the very end of this Atlus survey. It starts by asking about the fourth and sixth entries in the JRPG series at the 75% mark. It shows the trailer for Persona 4 Revival, asks if someone would purchase it, and asks for someone to explain why. After that, the questionnaire asks if someone is aware of Persona 6 and added it to a wishlist. After that, it asks if someone is interested in remakes of Revelations: Persona, Persona 2: Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment, the Persona Dancing trilogy, the Persona 4 Arena duology, and the two Persona Q games. That section also asks about remakes of Shin Megami Tensei IV and Apocalypse, SMT Digital Devil Saga, and Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers.

The Atlus annual games survey that asks about Persona remakes is now live in Japan and North America until September 6, 2026.
