When Dragon’s Dogma 2 launched back in 2024, it quickly became one of my favorite RPGs of all time. I still look back on it with fondness, and time hasn’t changed my opinion. The chaos of climbing a beast that should crush you with a gentle push of a finger and stabbing away at its weak points alongside your party cannot be beaten. It’s one of the most satisfying combat mechanics in gaming. The impressive-looking Dark Arisen expansion promises to bring improvements alongside a new tale set in the frosty region of Norgan, and by simply wishlisting the DLC on Steam, you could be one of the lucky winners of a Steam Deck OLED.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 may not be one of the best RPGs in many players’ eyes, earning the game a general ‘Mixed’ rating on Steam. However, it’s one of my personal favorites. It’s certainly one of those “if you love it, you really love it” games that fellow Arisen like myself have found themselves hooked on. I spent almost 50 hours playing it across just three sittings, to put it in perspective.

While I do hope you get the chance to play this RPG, you don’t need to even play it to take part in this competition—although it certainly helps. For a chance to win a Steam Deck OLED with 1TB of storage, all you need to do is head to this page, add Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen to your Steam wishlist, connect it to your Fanatical account, and subscribe to the free newsletter. Then, you’ll be entered into the prize draw. It really is that simple.

Even if you don’t win the Steam Deck OLED, there are still plenty of other prizes up for grabs. While one lucky wishlister will win Valve’s handheld (which got a big price increase earlier this year), there are also 20 Dragon’s Dogma 2 Steam keys and Fanatical coupons worth up to $100 available. That will certainly help towards buying any of the many PC games coming later this year.

And if you’re a fan of Dragon’s Dogma 2 like I am, Fanatical also has a preorder discount on the Dark Arisen expansion, with a 17% discount on the listed price. So, if you’ve been waiting for the big DLC as I have, this is the best way to do it. Why pay full price on Steam when you can get a Steam key for cheaper?

If you haven’t given Dragon’s Dogma 2 a chance, the new update should be the best opportunity to do so. You’re getting a couple of years’ worth of gameplay improvements and performance fixes, plus the chance to try out the upcoming expansion. Not only does it include the new story, but it also has new dungeons for endgame activities. I’m about to spend another 70 hours on a fresh playthrough.

Disclosure: GameSpot and Fanatical are both owned by Fandom. This story was created in collaboration with Fanatical’s deals team.
