Robot mowers are great at covering open grass. The trouble begins near walls, beneath trees, and on steep or uneven ground, where navigation becomes harder and tight turns can tear up the turf. Many models still leave a strip around the boundary to finish off with a string trimmer.
At IFA 2026, MAMMOTION is introducing two robotic mower series built for those tougher jobs. The LUBA 4 AWD brings LiDAR, four cameras, independent front-wheel steering, and an optional edge trimmer to residential lawns. And the Maston scales similar technology for parks, sports fields, estates, and other large commercial spaces.

Lawn care is hard work, especially when you have a lawn that isn’t completely level. MAMMOTION’s LUBA 4 AWD robot mower is designed to automate the process so you don’t have to get your hands dirty. This mower takes maintenance to the next level, offering an Enhanced Tri-Fusion navigation system that combines 360-degree LiDAR, NetRTK positioning, and four wide-angle cameras to map and navigate any lawn. It even has bidirectional driving to make cutting paths more efficient.
The LUBA 4 AWD is MAMMOTION’s new flagship robot mower for large and complex lawns. It features an Enhanced Tri-Fusion navigation system that combines 360-degree LiDAR, NetRTK positioning, and, for the first time in a LUBA, four wide-angle cameras covering the front, rear, and sides.
With its enhanced navigation system, the LUBA 4 AWD can better navigate complex lawns, avoid obstacles, and plan more efficient mowing routes, even under dense tree cover or in low-light conditions. Additionally, the four cameras give the mower a more complete view of its surroundings, allowing it to spot objects that would sit outside the range of a typical front-facing camera.
That extra coverage should help the LUBA 4 AWD stay on its route under trees, in low light, and around complicated garden layouts. It can cut grass in straight lines even on large, open lawns, identify obstacles in real time, and adjust its path without relying on buried boundary wires. Installing a separate RTK base station isn’t required, either, with MAMMOTION including its iNavi NetRTK service for the lifetime of the mower.
Smarter steering helps protect your grass

Most robot mowers need to turn around at the end of every row. Pivoting in place gets the job done, but repeatedly dragging the wheels over the same patch can tear grass and leave visible marks.
With the LUBA 4 AWD, each front wheel has its own steering motor, allowing them to roll through a smooth arc instead of scrubbing sideways across the turf. Bidirectional driving can avoid the turn altogether. At the end of a mowing pass, the LUBA 4 AWD can switch direction and continue cutting without first rotating the entire mower through a U-turn. This reduces pressure on the grass and lowers the risk of leaving bald patches behind.
On top of that, independent torque control sends power to the wheels with the most grip, helping the mower cross loose or uneven ground without spinning its tires. The AWD system can climb slopes of up to 80%, or 38.6 degrees, making the LUBA 4 AWD suitable for yards that would stop many two-wheel-drive mowers.
It gets closer to walls, fences, and garden beds

Cutting the middle of a lawn is the easy part. Narrow strips beside walls, fences, and garden beds are harder to reach, which is why owning a robot mower does not always mean putting away the string trimmer.
MAMMOTION offers an optional edge-trimming attachment that allows the LUBA 4 AWD to cut closer to those boundaries during its normal route. Instead of sending the mower back to its dock and trimming the edges separately, owners can automate more of the job in a single mowing session.
There are three models for different property sizes. The LUBA 4 AWD 3000F covers lawns measuring up to 0.75 acres, while the 6000F handles up to 1.5 acres. The top-end 12000F is designed for properties as large as 3 acres.
The 3000F and 6000F use two cutting discs for a 440mm cutting width. The 12000F adds a third disc and expands the cutting path to 530mm. Moreover, the 3000F and 6000F support cutting heights from 25 to 100 mm, while the 12000F supports up to 85 mm. A detachable high-capacity battery and 210W fast charging reduce the wait between mowing sessions.

MAMMOTION has stepped into new territory with its Maston Series of robotic lawn mowers. The Maston Flail is leading the charge with its heavy-duty commercialized design, boasting everything from the Trifusion 2.0 Intelligent Perception System, which includes LiDAR, RT, AI vision, ultrasonic, and rear sensors for super precise obstacle avoidance and coverage of up to 40,000 square meters daily.
Maston is the second major product in MAMMOTION’s IFA lineup, its first commercial robotic mower series. It is aimed at groundskeepers and landscaping teams maintaining large estates, parks, golf courses, sports fields, and public green spaces, where a residential mower would be too small and slow.
Maston comes in two versions, both built around a triangular three-disc layout. Maston Rotary is built for tall, dense, and coarse grass across rough terrain. Its three 500W cutting motors reach up to 6,000 RPM, while the 620 mm cutting width allows it to mow up to 24,000 square meters per day.

Maston Flail trades heavy-duty cutting for a shorter, more precise finish. It can cut as low as 10 mm and features three overlapping discs to prevent uncut strips. It also has a much wider 680 mm floating deck, capable of covering up to 40,000 square meters per day.
More importantly, the deck follows dips and raised sections for a consistent turf finish, even in complex landscapes. And to keep the wider deck from bogging down, the Maston Flail has dual-layer mulching blades that produce finer clippings and an optimized airflow channel that reduces clogging in wet or dense grass.
One dashboard can manage an entire fleet
Like the LUBA 4 AWD, the Maston also updates its navigation platform to better suit application scenarios, but it combines the 360-degree LiDAR and NetRTK with dual-front cameras, a rear camera, and four ultrasonic sensors into a Tri-Fusion 2.0 Intelligent Perception System. With the onboard 10 TOPS processor, the Maston brings centimeter-level positioning and obstacle detection without perimeter wires. It can recognize more than 500 obstacle types and automatically stops the blades if it detects a person or is lifted.
On the ground, AWD and individual wheel suspension help Maston maintain traction over roots, branches, uneven terrain, and slopes of up to 70%, or 35 degrees. Automatic zero-turn front steering points the wheels into tight turns instead of dragging them sideways across the grass, reducing damage to the turf. It also has a hill-hold assistance feature that keeps the mower from rolling backward whenever it stops on a slope.
Landscaping teams can manage multiple Maston mowers through MAMMOTION’s centralized Fleet Management platform. An integrated dashboard displays each mower’s location, status, and progress across multiple sites, reducing the need for workers to inspect every machine in person. Remote diagnostics can identify potential problems before someone travels to the site.
Maston also has a quick-swap battery and a 500W charging station to reduce downtime. Charging can be scheduled during off-peak hours, and major components such as the battery, motors, cutting units, wheels, control boards, and sensors use a modular design for quicker repairs.
