VR title Jupiter & Mars is making its way to the Switch eShop in the form of a new revamped Definitive Edition. It’ll launch this Thursday, 10th September 2026.
If you’re unfamiliar, Jupiter & Mars is an underwater adventure game in which you swim through the ocean as a dolphin. This new release contains enhanced visuals, a new third-person camera view, and a new end theme from Japanese techno legend Ken Ishii that was not featured in the original release.
“Tigertron’s groundbreaking oceanic adventure game — a dolphivania — comes to Nintendo Switch for the first time bearing a wealth of new additions and improvements: A new default 3rd-person perspective, graphical improvements, QoL upgrades, and a new ending theme song ‘Blue Life’ by Japanese electronic music legend, Ken Ishii.”
Reviews for the PSVR version were a little mixed, with our pals over at Push Square awarding it a 6/10. They called it a “short, chilled out experience”, but one that perhaps could have done more with the concept. If you’re after a relaxing new game to enjoy, however, this one sounds like it might be worth keeping an eye on.
