Got a shiny new iPhone 18 Pro or iPhone 18 Pro Max (or at least planning to)? You’ll probably want to keep that screen looking pristine for as long as possible. Belkin has introduced its new Titan SmartShield Pro collection for the iPhone 18 Pro series, with three different screen protectors depending on whether you want maximum clarity, blue-to-red light conversion, or extra privacy when using your phone in public.
All three models use Belkin’s Nano-Titan Technology and offer up to 2.7 metres of impact protection, along with anti-reflective treatment and resistance against up to 10,000 scratch cycles.
Belkin Titan SmartShield Pro
The standard Titan SmartShield Pro is the one to get if you simply want strong screen protection without changing how your iPhone display looks. It is just 0.33mm thin and is designed to maintain the original colour, clarity, and responsiveness of the iPhone screen. There is also an anti-reflective treatment to reduce glare and an anti-fingerprint coating to help keep smudges under control.
Belkin says its reinforced Nano-Titan layer can withstand drops of up to 2.7 metres and has been tested against up to 10,000 scratch cycles.
That should come in handy if you are like me and occasionally end up putting your phone in the same pocket or bag as keys and other things that really should not be anywhere near an expensive iPhone screen.
Titan SmartShield Pro Blue-to-Red
For anyone who spends a lot of time staring at their phone throughout the day, Belkin also has the Titan SmartShield Pro Blue-to-Red. Rather than simply filtering blue light like conventional blue-light screen protectors, this model converts blue light into red light. Belkin says this can help reduce eye strain while supporting sleep and overall wellness.
One problem with some blue-light filters is that they can make your display look noticeably warmer or change the colours. Belkin is addressing that with anti-reflective technology designed to maintain a clear and vibrant-looking screen. No more yucky-colour-tinted screen.
You still get the same Nano-Titan protection, up to 2.7 metres of impact protection, testing against 10,000 scratch cycles, and an anti-fingerprint coating.
Titan SmartShield Pro Bright Privacy
If you regularly use your phone on trains, planes, or in crowded public areas, the Titan SmartShield Pro Bright Privacy is probably the most interesting model of the three. Privacy screen protectors are useful for stopping people beside you from seeing what is on your screen, but they normally come with one annoying compromise: they make the display noticeably darker.
Belkin says its light-diffusing technology allows the iPhone display to remain up to 10% brighter compared with traditional two-way privacy screen protectors. Because you do not need to crank the screen brightness up as much, Belkin also claims it can provide up to 10% longer battery life under controlled conditions.
Of course, it still includes the same Nano-Titan impact protection, anti-reflective treatment, anti-fingerprint coating, and testing against up to 10,000 scratch cycles.
Applying it yourself should be straightforward
Installing a screen protector yourself can be stressful, especially when you somehow discover a tiny piece of dust underneath the glass just after getting everything perfectly aligned. Thankfully, Belkin includes its close-and-pull installation system with all three Titan SmartShield Pro models.
Inside the box you will find an Easy Align tray, dust-removal sticker, cleaning cloth, and alcohol wipe. The system is designed to make it easier to get the protector aligned properly while avoiding dust and annoying air bubbles. I’ve seen Belkin use similar alignment systems with its previous iPhone screen protectors, and they definitely make DIY installation much less intimidating.
