In iOS 27, which is being released to everyone on Monday, Apple is introducing a new feature that will let you use one phone number on two iPhones. It’s called iPhone Handoff, and during its iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and iPhone Duo launch event this week, Apple announced that it will be initially available on T-Mobile in the US and Telekom in Germany.
Today, T-Mobile has revealed how much this feature will cost you, and it’s going to be $5 per month. Handoff lets you use one T-Mobile number across two iPhones, but it can only be active on one iPhone at a time. iPhone Handoff will be available to any iPhone with iOS 27 via Settings, and since the new iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and iPhone Duo are launching with iOS 27 on board, it will work on them right out of the box.
Speaking of which, if you’re interested in buying the new iPhones from the US carriers, don’t miss our dedicated article about all of their deals, which you can find here.
