The IPC character Pearl will be in Honkai: Star Rail soon and a Special Program 4.6 stream is about to air showing her off. It will happen during the 2026 Tokyo Game Show. We’ll see it air at 4:30am PT/7:30am ET on September 20, 2026 on YouTube, as usual.
These sorts of showcases always go over the new update. So we’ll find out about the latest Planarcadia Trailblaze Missions, events, and character banners. This time around, Pearl is the only confirmed new character for Honkai: Star Rail. She’s the five-star Elation unit that deals Ice damage with her attacks. She follows fellow faction members Aventurine, Jade, and Topaz. (Aventurine even just got his first alt.) The image for this stream does hint at some possible reruns. Sparxie and Ashveil both show up as “speakers” for this presentation. This could mean one or both will be back as well.
Given this is also happening during the 2026 Tokyo Game Show, which runs September 17-21, 2026, we might get more major announcements. It’s possible we could learn about more merchandise or crossovers. HoYoVerse hasn’t shared any booth information for the event yet. At Gamescom 2026, it showed off this game and upcoming titles like Petit Planet, Honkai: Nexus Anima, and Nodusfall.
Honkai: Star Rail is available for the PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and we will see the Special Program stream for 4.6 air at 4:30am PT/7:30am ET on September 20, 2026.
