Following its initial roll-out not too long ago, Samsung’s much-awaited One UI 9 system update is finally arriving for more users in different regions, after a slight delay which saw the update get pushed back a bit.
With that in mind, several users from different regions such as Canada, the United States, United Kingdom and India (to name some) have shared that they’re now getting the update for their devices, including Samsung’s current Galaxy S26 Ultra flagship. Some users noted that the update arrived first for carrier-locked units, although the roll-out in general seems to be varied for many.
In particular, the update for our unlocked UK-region S26 Ultra arrived just today, and interestingly it came in two patches, the second of which carried the October 2026 security patch as two different download and install sessions. In addition to the S26 Ultra, the update will also be available for other Samsung flagships such as the Galaxy S25, S24 and S23 devices, for example.
