LG.com is running a real calendar deadline, not a vague “while supplies last” shrug: buy one eligible TV or StanbyME screen plus one eligible Xbox controller in the same cart, and five Wireless Controllers drop to $0 as an instant discount. The promo ends October 4, 2026. LG does not publish an end clock or timezone, so treat that date as the calendar cut and re-check the cart if you wait until late on the 4th.
The trap is model lists: Only six displays qualify:
65QNED7SBUA, 65QNED75BUA, OLED48C6PUA, OLED42C6PUA, 32LX6BWGA (StanbyME 2 MAX), and 27LX6TYGA (StanbyME 2).
Sibling sizes and the rest of the OLED/QNED lines are out.
Controllers that go free (savings equal to the pad’s price) are EP229563 Storm Breaker ($79.99), EP229571 Ice Breaker ($79.99), EP229935 Pulse Red ($69.99), EP229919 Robot White ($64.99), and EP229929 Carbon Black ($64.99).
The Elite Series 2 Core (4IK00001, $149.99) is only $50 off, not free. Pick that SKU by mistake and you still pay roughly $100 before tax.
How to claim it is boring and strict.
There is no promo code. LG.com is the only path stated. Best Buy, Amazon, and in-store are not on the terms. The offer cannot combine with other special programs. Controllers are non-returnable third-party Microsoft products. Cancel or return part of the order and LG voids the promo, then claws the controller value (or the $50 discount) back out of the TV refund.
It’s likely that a lot of people will screenshot “free Xbox controller,” click a 55-inch C6 or a random QNED, and wonder why the cart still shows full price. If you were already shopping one of those six screens, this is a clean extra. If you were not, do not stretch the TV buy just for a $65-$80 pad.
Act before October 4, match the SKUs, and watch the Elite Core line so “free” does not become a $50 surprise.
