Google Pixel 11 Pro in for review

Just like in 2025, people who want a compact Pixel phone are faced with the same question: is the Pro worth the extra €200, or is the Pixel 11 good enough? And just like last year, we’ll answer that question for you guys; just give us a few weeks.

But, looking at the phones side-by-side, seemingly nothing’s changed. The Pixel 11 Pro has a brighter OLED that’s also LTPO, so it refreshes more efficiently. The Pro also has 16GB of RAM on its higher-tier storage, and it looks classier with the shiny sides.

The Pro also has the HiLight LEDs embedded into the flash.

But the biggest differentiator is the camera system. Yes, both phones share a 0.6x + 1x + 5x main system, but look a little deeper, and the Pro has the nicer sensors all-around – even its selfie camera is superior.

The Pro has high-res sensors for each camera – 50MP wide-angle, 48MP telephoto and ultrawide, and 42MP selfie. That should make a difference, especially with Google’s clever image-stacking tricks. We saw the Pixel 10 Pro outdo its vanilla counterpart on the pixel level.

The rest of the package is harder to distinguish. You’re getting just as good a smartphone experience with the Pixel 11 as you do with the Pro. We doubt you’d notice the extra 4GB of RAM during day-to-day use.

Like the rest of the series, the Pixel 11 Pro ships with only a USB-C cable. You’d need to supply your own cases (make those MagSafe, now) and charger.
