Anker’s USB-C splitter cable charges 2 devices. It’s at its lowest price now

What do you do when you need to charge two devices? One option is to use a multi-port charger with multiple cables. Another option is to use a single USB charger with a single cable—like this Anker 2-in-1 USB-C splitter cable that’s now on sale for $15.99, matching its lowest price ever.

On one end, it has a typical USB-C connector. Plug that end into any USB-C power adapter, ideally one that can put out up to 140 watts because that’s how much this cable can support. The other end is split into two USB-C connectors for two different devices, like a phone and a tablet, or a phone and a laptop, or a phone and earbuds. You get my drift.

The cable itself is 6 feet long, with the main end stretching 5 feet and the split end up to 1 foot (though it can be shortened with the cable slider). That’s long enough to plug into a wall and not be tethered too closely, and two people can charge phones while still using them comfortably. Just be careful when packing it away, as cables of this length can tangle.

One caveat worth knowing is that the power delivery isn’t so straightforward. Only when charging a single device does the cable actually deliver the full 140W it’s capable of. When charging two devices and one uses more than 100W, the cable maxes out at 130W. If neither device uses more than 100W, the cable only maxes out at 100W. The first device plugged in gets the higher share.
