Meta’s Muse AI agent has received support for Spotify today, following a bunch of other connections with existing services that were recently announced (Box, GitHub, Granola, Notion, Expedia, Turo, Viator, 1Password, OpenTable, Peloton, Plaid, Ticketmaster, as well as a bunch of others including Shopify’s Shop Pay, Stripe’s Link, and PayPal for payments).
Now, Muse can connect to Spotify too (just ask it to), and it can play music, audiobooks, and podcasts, save stuff to your library, build playlists, and also help you find new music, books, or podcasts, all from within your conversation with Muse. It can also create a Personal Podcast, turning your daily briefings, notes, and ideas into audio content saved to your Spotify library.
Muse is unfortunately still only available in the US, Canada, and Mexico. It’s an AI agent with a cute avatar (which you can change or customize to your liking) that you basically have an ongoing conversation with, and it can do stuff for you, including in the apps mentioned above, but also, obviously, in all of Meta’s – Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Threads, and so on. And all of this functionality is available for free. It will surely roll out to other countries in the future.
