Honor has shown its readiness to launch the Magic 9 series in September. According to a recent leak, there’s the possibility that during the event, the company will unveil two models.
Furthermore, a tipster reveals that the Magic 9 Pro may be the first Android smartphone to come with a square selfie sensor.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Honor Magic 9 Pro, (expected to be powered by the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset) will be the first Android phone to feature a 1:1 square front-facing camera sensor.
It has also been revealed that on the rear, the coming Magic 9 Pro will feature a 200MP 1/1.28-inch primary sensor, with an f/1.57 aperture and 3-degree optical image stabilisation (OIS). The rear camera setup will include a 50MP ultrawide camera as well as a 200MP 1/1.4-inch periscope telephoto sensor. The device is expected to offer ARRI videography features, similar to the Honor Robot Phone.
