Such is the case with this ESP32-S3-powered virtual pet, which senses if you’re endlessly scrolling through your feeds and will slowly deteriorate in health until you stop.

Created by user brenpoly, this pet lives on a Waveshare ESP32-S3 Touch AMOLED 1.8, which connects to your phone to offload on-board AI tasks, meaning you can speak to your pet and it’ll respond. To keep it healthy, all you need to do is keep yourself off the usual apps that tend to suck all the time out of your day.
